Sabrina Yvette Drayton Lampkin is a distinguished gospel artist, choir director, and vocal
coach whose musical journey spans decades of ministry and excellence. Born into a musically
gifted family, she cultivated her talents early, excelling in band and choir at William M. Raines
High School before furthering her studies at Florida Junior College. In the early 1980s, she
stepped into her calling as the Choir Directress of The Little Rock Baptist Church Gospel
Chorus, later leading choirs at St. Paul Baptist Church, Sweet field Baptist Church, and beyond.
As the founder and director of Sabrina Drayton and The Chosen Few, she has performed across
Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, and California, earning
recognition for her passionate leadership and powerful voice. Currently, she serves as the
Worship Leader at First Baptist Church of Oakland under Rev. Dr. Christopher McKee and is a
licensed evangelist under The Revelation of the Rock Church. Throughout her career, Sabrina has been honored with numerous awards recognizing her
contributions to gospel music and leadership, including the Doctor of Sacred Music (2019, St.
Thomas Christian University), the Jacksonville Gospel Legends Award (2009), the Music
Pioneer Award (2015), and the Directress of the Year Award (2013). She is also the recipient of
the Music Excellence Award and the Woman of the Year Award, celebrating her impact in
ministry and the arts.
As the founder and CEO of Just Sabrina Ministries, she continues to pour
into the next generation of gospel artists through vocal training, choir workshops, and special
events. Known for her dedication to excellence, integrity, and mentorship, Sabrina remains a
pillar in the gospel community, using her voice and leadership to uplift and inspire.
